Teen Quit Vaping Resources

Are you a teen and got caught in the tangled web of vaping or using pouches? It may have seemed like the cool thing to do or the only way to hang with the “cool” kids … until you got caught. Or worse yet, realize that this stuff is making you feel different from your normal self.

You want to get off the stuff and yet, it seems so hard. Peer pressure, a desire to vape or chew as a coping mechanism to deal with stress or boredom … or because you’ve actually tried and realized that it’s a lot harder than you anticipated.

You are not alone!

Help is available to you.

And you have options.

  • You can choose to quit using an app on your phone that will help walk you through the different steps of quitting.
  • You can choose to quit using a program that helps educate and prepare you so you can more easily say “No” and walk away from those who are vaping or using pouches.
    • This is done mostly on your own but with a follow-up from a qualified specialist to give you that real person contact you can reach out to when needed
  • You can choose to quit through 1:1 support and guidance from a Quit Smoking Specialist at Calvert County Health Department.

You CAN break free from nicotine … whether that’s vaping, pouches, chewing tobacco or cigarettes. And we are here to support you every step of the way!
