Health Services
The Health Department offers the following Health Services:
The Personal Care Program provides assistance to aged and/ or functionally disabled adults and children to determine if a provider needs to be placed in the home to assist with various activities of daily living.
Adult Evaluation Review Services provides assistance to aged and/ or functionally disabled adults who are at risk of institutionalism.
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program provides transportation to non-emergency medical appointments for Medicaid recipients.
Reproductive Health provides preconception education and care to men and women.
Maternal Child Health Program provides case management to high risk pregnant women and infants.
The Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP) provides information and processed applications for the medical assistance program for pregnant women and children up to age 19.
